You may have heard that an interstellar comet flew close to the sun last week (on October 29, 2025), and you might have even heard its name: 3I Atlas. That’s the number “3” followed by the capital letter “I.”

What most scientists and media outlets are focusing on is the uniqueness of this astronomical body—that it originates from elsewhere in the Universe and is not home to our solar system. It’s only the third interstellar comet observed by modern humankind!

I find that fascinating, too. But as an intuitive astrologer with the ability to connect directly to the energy of planets and other astronomical bodies, I decided to use my channeling ability to dig deeper into the message that this cosmic energy is intending to share with humanity at this time. Just as the planets have a message to share with us, so do other cosmic bodies like asteroids and comets.

So, I went into meditation and respectfully opened the Akashic Records of 3I Atlas so I could learn more about why she is here and what she wants to say to us. Every cosmic body has its own unique energy signature, just like we humans. Atlas—or Atla as she presented herself to me—was no different.

A Messenger from Source Energy

Atla revealed to me that she’s a feminine Goddess who’s embodied into the form of the 3I Atlas comet as God’s messenger. Interestingly, when I ran a natal astrology chart for the first time that 3I Atlas was recorded by telescopes in pre-discovery imagery (on May 22, 2025 in San Diego by Caltech's Palomar Observatory & Zwicky Transit Facility), I discovered that her Jupiter is in Gemini, the zodiac sign of communication. One of her greatest opportunities –or good fortune—then, is to be a messenger.

What is 3I Atlas's message to us? During my channeling session (you can hear the exact message on the Astrology for Starseeds Podcast here), Atla explained, "I am here as a positive balancing force to all of the negativity that is going on in the world right now…. My journey is to love humanity and all the beings of our galaxy. I am a specific manifestation of God in the fully balanced feminine form--balanced in both my masculine and feminine energy.”

Atla presented herself to me as a larger-than-life feminine Goddess wearing a white, gossamer flowing gown. Although she clearly showed herself in a female form, she exuded an underpinning of strength that aligned with a masculine energy.

She showed me through her vibration that she represents balance and wholeness and is here to restore divine feminine energy to humanity, while honoring the importance of the divine masculine.

To be clear, I'm not talking about gender here; I'm talking about complementary energies like Taoism’s yin and yang that can be expressed by humans of either gender.

As such, 3I Atlas is here to support both women and men; she’s here to support all of humanity by restoring the energy of the divine feminine and the divine masculine to our collective.

Why Here? Why Now?

Why is 3I Atlas's energy signature needed right now?

Although the Earth was once populated by ancient matriarchal societies like Lemuria, where the feminine was honored and where men and women came together naturally in sacred unions of all kinds, at some point in human history, the collective made a decision to allow men to take the lead. It seemed natural at the time to take turns in this way, like spinning through the four seasons to create a varied and balanced whole.

It wasn’t foreseen by the humans how the patriarchy might get corrupted by negative forces who did not want the best for humanity, whether interfering extraterrestrials or their human counterparts.

Of course, God always knows the future, as there’s only the Present in God’s mind but because Earth was a free will zone, God let its children create its own future.

Fast forward to today. The Earth has been dominated for centuries by patriarchal societies characterized by selfishness, greed, and aggression. These are largely unchecked societies characterized by war and a warring nature. While the warrior archetype has its place and importance, humanity has overly associated with this metaphor, particularly the men who have maintained, wrested, cajoled, and dominated power, and the women who have had to conform or submit to be accepted by them.

As a result, dominant factions of human society have run amok to damage our planet, marginalize people deemed "different," and harm all of the humans, female and male alike. In short, humanity finds itself in a state today that completely lacks balance and wholeness—heavy on the wounded masculine and wounded feminine, and light on the divine versions of each.

Interestingly, 3I Atlas's natal Chiron—the wounded healer—is in the sign of Aries—the warrior. I believe this is one more validation of her message that she’s here to restore a healthy balance between the masculine and the feminine energies within all of humanity. Could it be that 3I Atlas is here to heal the wounds that have been perpetrated on humanity through centuries of war and the elevation of the domineering warrior archetype that has overtaken this planet like an invasive weed?

Returning to Wholeness

Every society needs its warriors, and every society needs its healers, too. I believe 3I Atlas is burning through our solar system right now to help humanity recall what it feels like to experience a divine balance between the two and in their highest forms. Perhaps 3I Atlas will help us discover a new warrior archetype, one that protects without killing, shares its viewpoint without trying to annihilate others, and takes risks that stand to benefit the collective rather than give power to a few.

Also of note, 3I Atlas's natal chart is loaded with Aries and Pisces energy, which as an astrologer I interpret as a balance between yang/masculine and yin/feminine energies. Aries takes action, while Pisces receives. Aries asserts himself, while Pisces yields. Atlas's natal sun is also in two-sided Gemini, twin energies that together make a whole. Again, I’m reminded of the yin and yang symbol (more formerly known as Taijitu) from ancient Chinese philosophy, two paisley shaped swooshes—one black, one white—that together form a circle or the whole.

When you look closely at the yin and yang symbol, you see that within the white paisley symbol there is a black dot, and within the black paisley, there is a white dot. This adds an additional layer of nuance to what it means to be balanced. In practical terms, I believe this means that our world needs woman and man (yin and yang), yes, but also that within woman there needs to be a dose of masculine and within man a dose of feminine. It’s up to each individual to self-express the right proportions of divine feminine and masculine energy for them, but nonetheless, both masculine and feminine energies are needed for wholeness, balance, and harmony.

So, the energy that 3I Atlas is bringing to humanity is nuanced too. Yes, she is part of a larger movement that is helping to raise women back up to an equal place in society, but she is also encouraging us to do so through a balanced embodiment of femininity and masculinity. Just as humanity was hijacked by the masculine, we don’t want to react with a counterforce that creates a world that is overly soaked in the feminine.

As a result, 3I Atlas is here to help women and men return to a balanced state of wholeness that includes the divine feminine and masculine energies within themselves, in authentic and supportive proportions. More specifically, Atla stated about her collective mission with God/Source/Universe:

“We are helping women stand in their power and share their light with the world in that special way that only women can do. We are also bringing a softness to men so they may reconnect to their hearts and the heart of Mother Earth and to learn how to care for themselves deeply and to love themselves. I am sprinkling all this magic over Earth, and it is going into humanity's heartbeat, held within the core of Mother Earth.” 

Resetting the Heartbeat of Humanity

On the topic of heartbeats, a loved one of mine was recently diagnosed with an irregular heartbeat and A-fib. I was surprised to learn that one of the treatments for this condition is to take the same electrical paddles used to resuscitate a person having a heart attack and use them to “shock” the abnormal heartbeat of the person with A-fib back into a regular rhythm. Atla informed me that this is a metaphor for what she, too, is doing right now for humanity!

3I Atlas is a magnificent bundle of light and mass hurtling through our solar system that’s raining energy into our atmosphere to electrify humanity back into a reset. The intuitive humans, healers, and starseeds are here to help ground this energy in the earth, where it will calibrate to an energy that can guide humanity toward making shifts to heal external and internal divides and to become whole again.

On November 4th, less than a week after 3I Atlas passed near our Sun and the closest it would ever be to Earth, the U.S. State of Virginia elected its first female governor—Abigail Spanberger. In her acceptance speech on election night, Spanberger commanded the stage with a bold and confident yang/masculine energy as she outlined her agenda as governor while also taking time to praise her family, who stood proudly behind her, in a loving and yin/female way. Spanberger’s a former CIA officer and a mom of three girls. How yang and yin is that?

Understanding 3I Atlas's spiritual function and purpose has given me hope in a time when the world seems broken. Where else might we start to see the elevation of women into leadership roles? What new kinds of conversations might we start to have that honor the best in men, rather than bashing them? How might women find the confidence to share their light with the world, and how might men learn how to go within more often to love and care for themselves compassionately?

Embodying the Wisdom of 3I Atlas in Practical Ways

3I Atlas has now traveled as close to Earth as she ever will and is on her way out of the solar system. She’s an interstellar object, and unlike asteroids like Chiron that orbit around our sun, she’s on an altogether different trajectory. But I believe her wisdom is meant to support us for the long-term. She'll be continuing to move through our solar system through March 2026, when she will pass by Jupiter and then departs our planetary system forever.

During my time with 3I Atlas in meditation, I asked her how she’d like to encourage us humans to embody her teachings.

In response, she gave the following practical advice:

• be present
• go a little more slowly
• watch less negative news
• have a little more silence
• take more time to rest, laugh, savor, and enjoy through our senses
• be kind and forgiving of each other and ourselves
• treat our bodies like temples (taking in filtered water and healthy food)
• rest when we need it, and
• be present and mindful, whatever we do.

Sounds rather Taurus of her! 3I Atlas's natal Mercury and Uranus are indeed in the sign of the bull.

In my conversation with her, Atla also encouraged us to nourish ourselves with authentic, organic nourishment such as high-quality books, music, loving people, and mindful time with our pets. For those who are familiar with yoga, Atla invited us to lay on our mats in Savasana (“corpse pose”) and allow the energy in our body to redistribute evenly.

Atla also invited us to cultivate an inner knowing that we don't have to rush and that we have everything we need inside of us.

In short, Atla is encouraging us to be a little more yin. With Autumn upon us in the Northern Hemisphere and the days shortening, it’s a great time to move a little more slowly and gently.

What will be born out of our taking time to rest, conserve, and reset? Wholeness, maybe even Heaven on Earth.

“I am here to help bring men and women back together in loving sacred union,” Atla explained near the end of our conversation, and I believe she meant the divine masculine and feminine within ourselves, too.  “May all humans embody the balanced whole that is God.”

If you’re not comfortable with the term God, change that out for Source or Universe. Either way, I believe we have a reason to feel positively about humanity’s future. We can each begin doing our part by starting to embody even one piece of practical advice that Atlas shared with us, whether that’s to watch less negative news, spend mindful time with a pet, or rest when we need it. Change begins within.
